This department trains the undergraduate students in medical jurisprudence, forensic medicine, and toxicology. The students will attend medicolegal autopsies and are introducted to problems pertaining to medicolegal issues, homicide, unnatural deaths, accidents, rape, disputed paternity, poisoning and other complex issues relating to the medico-legal aspects of medicine. A museum with illustrative and rare exhibits is available for study and perusal.
